journalist, he posted a picture of Veronica, her talking back to a
teacher.
The picture made
Veronica

popular.
Personally I think Veronica
should be locked in a chamber with her key through out.
“Angry
Voice.”
James
is updating his
status on facebook, “Fixing my car”.
HIS
EYES FALL ON AN
ENGINE
he
searches the
problem with his car.
his
hands have grease.
VERONICA
she
is approaching
VOICE-OVER by Jen – “That’s Veronica, and so and so”, the most
popular girl in school.”
she’s
walking to a
garage and looking around.
she’s
18or 19 years
old.
she’s
very pretty although
not necessarily in an obvious way.
she
sits in the
drivers seat.
she
clears her
throat, to get his attention.
he
don’t hear her.
she
shifts position
and accidentally-on-purpose hits the car HORN, which beeps
he
hits his head on
the inside of the hood.
he
is frightened but
he’s also excited by the strange visit by her.
JAMES
Hey
Veronica, what
are you doing here ? Then he starts to put his stuff on a table and in
a box of
tools.
VIRONICA
I
was passing by to
see if you are down for the beech party tonight?
Come
on, tapping
James on the shoulder, it will be fun!
JAMES
I
am busy tonight,
and we are leaving early tomorrow to
Veronica
and James
exchange longing looks outside the car.
James
turns.
DISSOLVE

INT. THE
COFFEE SHOP
Two
girls are in the coffee
shop drinking coffee sitting next to a window,
a
shot from the
outside and a few seconds

shot inside, but
mostly from outside.

moment later he receives
a text message on his phone, (show two missed calls) the text
is
“Dude, I am
almost done fixing my car, getting together with Veronica beach party
tonight”
The
Dude puts on his
dripping sunglasses.

– HOME CAMERA SHOT
(Kelly who is Jen’s friend)
she
argues with her
older brother, over a cell phone,

need to fill in

Veronica
is shopping
with Amy and Michelle, walking with brand bags on the main street.
“We

lines talking”.

We
hear the door open
and the whine of a motor.
James
wearing shorts
and a shirt turns to look.
He
noticed Jen is approaching
her door with groceries.
James
drives a way.
DISSOLVE

HOUSE
Jen
is sitting and
reading a book ” ” and gets a call from Kelly.
KELLY
Jen,
I called you
before. We are going to a beach party tonight, get ready.
JEN
Ah,
KELLY
You’re
too busy being
happy.
It’s been 3 month since you
guys
broke up.
JEN
(interrupting)
–and
you think being
happy makes you a better person?
KELLY
Look,
I think you
really deserve being happy, that’s all I’m saying.
I
am jumping off
point here.
Pick
you up tonight.
JEN
I
don’t know.
KELLY
we
are just going to
meet new friends, okay?
JEN

Busy
street, the car
pulls up and Veronica hops out grabbing her stuff.

for the ride
ladies, see you tonight.
Her
head pops into
the car, looming over them,
VIRONICA
no
wait, I invited
James to the beach party tonight.
Amy
and Michelle
looked at each other.
AMY
& MICHELLE

journalist ?
VIRONICA
That’s
what I said.
MICHELLE

he was the one
who posted that angry picture of you in the school newspaper.
VIRONICA
because
eventually
thinks move on.
AMY
it’s

optimistic of you.
